Great article on Taylor Swift! Obviously, writer Ms. Orsini has her "brand" of writing very much in control. Her articles are always interesting, fresh and informative. Truly very professional. Keep up the good work!!! Looking forward to many more informative articles.

Chris, you definitely can track actions more clearly now, on the web, than you ever could. At least if you ask the question "Is anybody listening?" you can see they are.

I think the jury's still out on how to translate that into sales. And it may always be, unless you're selling a product where someone can click on a link, come to your site, and make an immediate purchase.

The analytics you cite, though, definitely can tell you what's working as far as getting traffic to your site and who is engaging with you once they're there. From there it's easier to figure out what to do more of and what you can quit doing. That's something you couldn't do as well in the old world -- certainly not without a lot more effort.

I love BirchBox, I feel like it's a special little treat every month. The products, package and marketing are all wonderful. I would definitely sign up for more box subscriptions. BirchBox also does great with promoting itself on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
