Meet Amy Awadalla, True’s new content intern for the fall semester. It’s become a tradition to ask our newest team members to share a little about themselves, and Amy has obliged with a quick peek into what likes to do in her free time and where she sees herself in the future.
School: John Carroll University
Year: Recent Graduate as of May 2017 🙂
Other internship experience: I was the Content Marketing intern for a small Marketing agency in Strongsville, Ohio called Kiwi Creative. I ran their social media accounts and their blog.
Do you have any hobbies? I love traveling, going to trendy festivals around CLE, binge watching the latest trashy reality show on E!, and spending as much time with my family and friends as I can.
What are 3 fun facts about you? I am 100% Egyptian and fluent in Arabic, my all time favorite city in the world is Youngstown, Ohio (it’s where I grew up), and I am at TJ Maxx almost every day.
What’s your favorite snack? Diet Coke and Caprese Salad
What do you hope to gain from your internship at True? I hope to learn as much as I possibly can about agency life and all of the different facets of digital marketing so that I can further pinpoint where my skills lie.
What made you interested in an internship at True? True’s focus is digital marketing, which I believe is the most important type of marketing today. I have always had a passion for social media so I knew that digital marketing is where I needed to be. I also wanted to begin my career working for an agency that is passionate about what they do, and that has been extremely evident during my time here with True so far.
Where do you want to be in ten years? I hope to still be learning and growing in my skills and knowledge of all things marketing. Ideally, I would love to be working for a company that is collaborative and excited about their clients and the work that they do.
Welcome, Amy! We hope you enjoy your time at True.
