What do you get when you mix a talented writer inspired by the timeless works of Jane Austen with someone who has a keen eye for all things detail and design. It's Madeline Kline, content marketing manager, on Team True. Madeline uses her professional marketing and collegiate journalism experience to drive content strategy that helps our clients reach their goals.
"True can be best represented by a buffet covered with the most delicious foods and decadent desserts – and everyone on Team True has brought something to the table. This is one of the reasons why True is so unique. No one is expected to work inside the box. Instead, everyone is encouraged to grow their strengths and support one another to explore the best solution for our clients. After all, I'm a big believer in how valuable knowledge is in our industry when it's shared," Madeline said.

Q: What do you like most about working at True?
A: I genuinely enjoy getting up and going to work every morning. There's never a dull moment between the work that I get to do and those I get to work with. This is a true reflection of the company culture that has been created, which all goes back to the vision Chris and Leah work hard to put in place. They look after the day-to-day operations, but they also consider the long-term view. The support given by the leadership team empowers me to be the best I can be in my role.
Q: What's your favorite project you've worked on so far?
A: Working with Benjamin Obdyke to launch HydroGap SA, the first-ever self-adhered drainable housewrap, has been a favorite moment in my career thus far. Our team worked hard to develop and execute an abundance of marketing support methods to support the launch, including content creation, press releases, press tours, and advertising. It was phenomenal to see the process for a new product launch unfold while watching our work be put into practice.
Q: What is a goal you'd like to achieve while working at True?
A: Two years ago, I started my journey at True as a content marketing intern and have now grown into my role as content marketing manager. My long-term goal is to continue growing in my professional journey at True as my career progresses. Additionally, I hope to be a mentor for new team members, specifically interns, who are in a position I was once in myself.
Q: When you're not working, what do you enjoy doing?
A: Being a new mother and spending time with family is a joy that I never imagined would become a core part of my personal life. The rewarding nature of parenthood is such a heartwarming endeavor, and seeing my daughter, Ella, react to any new experience is priceless. Outside of parenting, my husband Adam and I spend a lot of time doing artwork and authoring short stories.
Animals are also a core pillar of my life. Over the past few years, my husband and I have rescued and re-homed nearly two dozen stray cats. In addition, we've helped three of them through the birthing process. Being able to help these animals in need gives a unique sense of fulfillment you can't find anywhere else.
Q: Where do you see True going in the next two years?
A: I see the True team continuing to grow. We're always on the lookout to add more digital and content professionals to the team, and I think in a few years, we'll see our team grow by quite a few people. I also expect us to, ideally speaking, in a post-pandemic world, get back to traveling and participating in conferences again.
