Account Service Manager

We’re hiring! True Digital Communications is looking for a full-time Account Service Manager who will be responsible for serving as the conduit between the True team and our clients. The Account Service Manager will play a key role in fostering positive experiences for our clients through active listening, creative problem-solving, detailed project management, effective communications and a focus on driving results and helping our clients achieve their business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic discussions and planning efforts across internal and external teams aimed at understanding our clients’ business challenges and delivering smart, creative solutions to help our clients achieve their goals
  • Ongoing client relationship management on assigned accounts
  • Ongoing project management on assigned accounts including establishing and clearly communicating objectives, tactics, scope, deliverables, timelines and status updates for client retainers and projects
  • Display solid understanding of each client’s industry, brand, target market, and marketing goals and challenges
  • Thoroughly understand True’s capabilities and service offerings; identify and propose smart solutions for our clients; work collaboratively with internal teams to define and execute on identified opportunities
  • Support new business efforts through development and delivery of client proposals
  • Develop and lead presentations for clients and prospects showcasing True’s capabilities, case studies and other content highlighting successful campaigns and programs
  • Identify and evaluate industry trends, competitive market dynamics and best practices that we should be staying abreast of in order to continue to deliver value and insights to our clients
  • Work with the True team to define and develop new product and service offerings
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of True’s processes and financial policies; contribute to discussions on process improvement
  • Effectively manage project timelines and budgets; work closely with Accounting to review monthly client billings and update revenue projections
  • Assist in the development of monthly reporting
  • Additional responsibilities may be added based on the experience and skill-set of the employee in the role

  • Detail-oriented with great organizational and time management skills; ability to actively and effectively manage timelines, budgets and deliverables of multiple projects simultaneously and to communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to drive marketing strategy discussions with internal and external parties, to understand complex business marketing issues and how to leverage digital marketing tactics and channels to achieve the client’s objectives
  • Ability to adapt to continually changing priorities and aggressive project timelines; ability to problem-solve

Requirements:

  • Qualified candidates will generally have 7-10 years of hands-on account management experience in marketing communications and digital strategy
  • Client service experience in an agency setting
  • Solid grasp of marketing principles and understanding of integrated marketing and the shift in the buyer’s journey
  • Experience with B2B marketing and familiarity with marketing funnels and lead conversion goals within the B2B environment
  • Building products industry/category experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Some (20-30%) travel required
